Find your mouse by hand size

Fit is the one thing reviews can't decide for you — a mouse that's too big or too small fights your grip no matter how good its sensor is. Measure your hand, pick your size, and get a ranking built on each mouse's sourced dimensions and grip suitability.

Measure first: lay your hand flat and measure from the wrist crease to the tip of your middle finger. Under 17 cm = small · 17–19 cm = medium · over 19 cm = large. Note your grip too (below) — claw and fingertip players want a slightly smaller mouse than palm players.

Pick your hand size

The three grip styles

Palm — your whole hand rests on the shell; the most stable and least tiring, and it wants a longer mouse that fills the hand. Claw — heel of the palm down, fingers arched for fast clicks; runs a slightly smaller mouse than palm at the same hand size. Fingertip — only fingertips touch, for the quickest small adjustments; wants the smallest, lightest mouse and a low hump.

Dimensions are sourced per mouse (TechPowerUp caliper figures where available, else EloShapes / manufacturer — noted on each pick). This ranks fit, not win-rate: above a comfortable fit it's preference, so several mice often tie — pick on feel and budget.
