Privacy Policy
The short version: AimBench collects almost nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking cookies — just a tool that runs in your browser.
What we collect
Nothing on our servers. AimBench is a static site with no backend, no accounts, and no login. We do not run Google Analytics or any third-party tracking, and we set no advertising or analytics cookies.
What stays in your browser
Your setup. Your selected gear and settings are saved in your browser's local storage (keys prefixed so.) so your configuration persists between visits. This never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser storage erases it.
Region detection. To send you to your local Amazon store, we read your browser's timezone and language entirely on your device. This is not transmitted or stored anywhere.
Affiliate links
Some outbound gear links are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer (e.g. Amazon) may set its own cookies and record the referral under its privacy policy, not ours. As an Amazon Associate, AimBench earns from qualifying purchases. See our affiliate disclosure.
The contact form
If you message us through the contact form, the name, email and message you submit are processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form service, solely to deliver your message to us. We use it only to reply and never sell or share it. You can always email us directly instead (see Contact).
Children
AimBench is a general-audience hardware tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices
Because we hold no personal data on our servers, there is nothing to export or delete on our side beyond a message you may have emailed us. If you've contacted us and want that deleted, email us and we will remove it. AimBench is operated from Australia.
Questions about privacy? Reach us via the contact page — we're happy to clarify.
