If someone asked for one mouse with no other information, this is the answer. The Superlight 2's shape is the great neutral of the genre — medium length, gentle hump, no aggressive curves — so it fits palm and claw across most hand sizes without fighting you. At 60 g it's light enough that weight is a non-issue for almost everyone.
Where it sits vs the field
It's no longer the lightest (the OP1 8K and others undercut it) and it's not the value pick. What keeps it on top is risk reduction: the shape is the one most likely to just work for you, and the ecosystem around it is unmatched. If you want absolute lightness or a specific shape, look elsewhere; if you want to stop researching and play, this is it.
