The DeathAdder V4 Pro solves a long-standing problem: the comfiest mainstream shape in gaming used to come with a weight penalty. At 57 g, a sculpted ergonomic mouse this light is a genuinely new thing. If you've got large hands and a palm grip and never got on with flat ambidextrous shells, this is built for you.
Who it's for — and who it isn't
This is a large mouse: 127.6×65.1×42.8 mm of sculpted right-handed ergo. That's the appeal and the limit. Big hands and a palm or relaxed-claw grip get a shape that supports the whole hand; small hands and fingertip aimers will find it oversized and should look at a smaller shell instead. Size it honestly against your hand with the hand-size ranker first.
This is comfort money, not win-rate money
The Focus Pro 45K sensor and 57 g weight clear the competitive floor — but so does every flagship, and a lighter mouse won't measurably raise your rank. Gear is a floor, not a booster. What the premium price actually buys here is the sculpted shape and the comfort of a big ergo that doesn't fight your hand on a long session. The 8000 Hz polling is a nice-to-have that needs a strong PC to matter, not a selling point on its own.
