Convert Rust sensitivity to CS2
Moving from Rust to CS2? Keep the exact same aim by matching your cm/360. A Rust sens of 1.5 becomes about 1.5 in CS2 (at 800 DPI, ~34.6 cm/360).
Rust → CS2 conversion table
| Rust sens | cm/360 @ 800 DPI | CS2 sens |
|---|---|---|
| 0.3 | 173.2 cm | 0.3 |
| 0.5 | 103.9 cm | 0.5 |
| 1 | 52 cm | 1 |
| 1.5 | 34.6 cm | 1.5 |
| 2 | 26 cm | 2 |
| 3 | 17.3 cm | 3 |
Rust uses a non-standard sensitivity scale (percentage or slider), so this conversion is a close community-model approximation rather than an exact 1:1.
How the conversion works
Both games are pinned to the same physical turn distance — your cm/360. We take your Rust sensitivity, compute the cm/360 it produces, then solve for the CS2 sensitivity that reproduces it. DPI cancels out for standard scales, so the converted number is the same whether you play at 400, 800 or 1600 DPI.
For example, Rust 1.5 works out to about 34.6 cm/360 — a balanced aim — which is CS2 1.5. Plug your real DPI into the full calculator for an exact figure plus eDPI and your aim band.
