How WARDOGS sensitivity works
The in-game Sensitivity slider runs 0.10–2.00 (default 0.73, in 0.01 steps), but it isn't a plain multiplier like CS2 or Valorant. It maps linearly onto 0.007–0.070 degrees per mouse count, and that mapping has an offset. Doubling the slider does not double your turn speed: 0.50 → 1.00 speeds you up by about 1.8×, not 2×. A converter that uses a single "yaw" constant for WARDOGS will be off by up to 2× at the ends of the slider.
The config file stores a different number. MouseSensitivity in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Wardogs\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\GameUserSettings.ini runs 0.1–1.0, and turn speed is exactly 0.07 × that value. The slider converts to it as ini = 0.1 + (slider − 0.1) × 9/19, which is why the default 0.73 shows up as 0.398421. Hipfire is not affected by your FOV setting or by Windows pointer speed.
| Slider | Config value | cm/360 @ 400 DPI | @ 800 | @ 1600 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.10 | 0.100000 | 326.6 cm | 163.3 cm | 81.6 cm |
| 0.30 | 0.194737 | 167.7 cm | 83.8 cm | 41.9 cm |
| 0.50 | 0.289474 | 112.8 cm | 56.4 cm | 28.2 cm |
| 0.73 | 0.398421 | 82 cm | 41 cm | 20.5 cm |
| 1.00 | 0.526316 | 62 cm | 31 cm | 15.5 cm |
| 1.25 | 0.644737 | 50.7 cm | 25.3 cm | 12.7 cm |
| 1.50 | 0.763158 | 42.8 cm | 21.4 cm | 10.7 cm |
| 2.00 | 1.000000 | 32.7 cm | 16.3 cm | 8.2 cm |
The max-sensitivity cap
The slider tops out at 2.00, which is slow by shooter standards. The fastest turn WARDOGS allows is 32.7 cm/360 at 400 DPI, 16.3 cm at 800 and 8.2 cm at 1600. If your aim from another game is faster than that, the reliable fix is to raise your mouse DPI and bring the slider down to match. Community threads describe pushing the config value past the slider's range. We haven't verified that, and the game re-rounds config values to the slider's 0.01 steps, so we don't recommend it.
ADS, scopes and vehicles
Aiming down sights has its own controls: an ADS Multiplier (0.01–5.00, default 1.00), a Sensitivity Scaling Mode (Relative or Legacy), Monitor Matching Distance (0–100%, default 100%), and separate ground/air vehicle multipliers (0.01–2.00, default 0.50). Per-scope ADS values haven't been published anywhere we can verify, so we convert hipfire only. There is also a Mouse Acceleration slider (0–5); every cm/360 conversion assumes acceleration is at 0.

WARDOGS is in Early Access, so we re-check the model after big patches.
